ENTRi Workshop on ‘Ensuring Training Effectiveness: Challenges and Opportunities in the Field’
In cooperation with the Danish EU Presidency, ENTRi organised a workshop on ‘Ensuring Training Effectiveness: Challenges and Opportunities in the Field’ on February 08-09, 2012. The event took place in Copenhagen, Denmark.
While taking the opportunity to review the lessons learned of the first twelve months of the ENTRi project and share experiences with all involved actors and Member States, the workshop aimed at identifying future training needs and bottlenecks. It sought to identify the impact that training currently has on staff performance while providing an overview of current recruitment and training trends in EU civilian crisis management.
With the participation of more than 60 policy makers in the field of training and recruitment as well as representatives from the European Commission, the European External Action Service, CivCom, field missions, EU Member States and third countries, the conference facilitated an exchange of ideas and set the course for training in 2012 and beyond.
